Costa Rica White Water Rafting Reventazon
Nearly 150km long, Reventazon is the 3rd longest river in the country.
There are two main sections in the Reventazon commonly used for rafting: the Florida section and the Pascua section.
The Florida features 15 km of class III rapids with breathtaking views of the Reventazon Valley and its wild life. Pascua has class IV and V rapids and is recommended for more experienced rafters. It is usually a 4 hour run over 24 km of huge waves going through rapids called "Dirty Mind", "The Abyss", "Indigestion" and "Horrendito".
Can be run year round.
Costa Rica White Water Rafting Pacuare
The Pacuare is the quintessential tropical river.
The country's longest and most spectacular river trip (Class III-IV) can be run from mid May thru mid March. Two-day trip recommended. The Pacuare is the only river in Costa Rica which contains these amenities, including virgin rain forest, while also being quite accessible.
The lowland tropical forest here is remarkable for its luxuriant variety and the amazing abundance and diversity of wildlife found within it.

It is used for rafting through 35 Kilometers, beautiful river (Class II-III), good trip for beginners.
Thus, it is the perfect adventure for families with children. Rapids such as "Confusión", "Ay Caramba" and "Roller Coaster" will satisfy your daily dosage for adrenaline and water splash! In addition, the clear, warm water is perfect for enjoying a swim between rapids.
The Sarapiquí river is known as the scenic river of Costa Rica's tropical rain forest, Can be run out of San Jose or the Arenal area, from mid May thru mid March.
